The impact of COVID-19 is creating a mental health crisis for Australia’s performing arts professionals.
The Arts Wellbeing Collective is a service that supports the mental health of all Australians working in the performing arts. When you donate to the Arts Wellbeing Collective, you are helping arts workers in three important ways:
- You’ll fund the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline – a 24/7 phone counselling service staffed by clinicians with specialist knowledge of the performing arts. Demand for this service has never been greater, so we urgently need your help.
- You’ll help train Mental Health First Aiders – and create a peer support program especially for performing arts professionals.
- You’ll help more people get more help, faster – by putting workshops and self-care resources online so people can access them instantly and without having to meet in person.
The uncertainty caused by COVID-19 is pushing thousands of our most vibrant, creative and passionate people to the brink.
Your support is needed now more than ever. It could even save lives.
